Did the spicy tuna bowl shrink?
The first time I ate here (a week ago) I was really impressed by how big the portions were when I ordered the spicy tuna bowl. I also enjoyed the spicy cucumber and jalapenos that they had.
This time... the bowl itself is much smaller and the sides not as great.
Yes this is a food court but it's also Newport beach and when you spend $10+ for a quick meal you expect some consistency. -

I work at fashion island so I come here pretty often.. today I got the CHICKEN ramen, and well I got back to work and there was no chicken....... so I had to march all the way back and get the chicken ramen that I ordered. It's a rainy day and I was just kinda upset I had to go all the way back. They fixed it and she was very nice about it, the girl kinda laughed a little because the cook literally made me a chicken ramen with no chicken!?
The food is pretty decent, and decently priced. You can get a ramen and a roll for 10 bucks. Just upsetting when you're on your lunch break and 20 minutes were devoted to getting my order fixed. I will be back I'm sure. I'll just make sure to check my food before I take off. -

Today is Jan 3,2019 . I used to love the chicken stick here. Its the only thing i ate here everytime since I tried one other item before and it sucked. Now even the last thing isnt good. Usually i get full off of 2 sticks (1.50) each. Its under a new owner now so its burnt and burnt food potentially can give you cancer so I basically threw the burnt parts away which were almost one stick. Its also much smaller with same price. Panda Express now will be my choice of meal. No more chicken stick or anything else at Hana Grill .

First time trying this place. Wasn't bad, prices are very affordable and place looks clean. Saw that they had boba yesterday so we got two cups. Serving sizes are great, super big portions. Got their teriyaki chicken bowl that came with rice and veggies. They had brown rice options and vegetarian options as well, so that's a plus. Also had an order of ramen. Really tasty, definitely recommend going there for lunch. Boba, on the other hand, wasn't great but wasn't horrible. The tapioca balls themselves were good, the one I had was chewy and squishy. The drink flavor, one black milk tea and one green milk tea, they had a strange taste, maybe it's the type of creamer or tea they used. Boba is kind of a miss for me

I would have given this place 4 stars...
I ordered the Vegan chicken with white rice. The girl working seemed preoccupied and I didn't think to check the receipt. After getting my food I realized I was eating brown rice, checked the receipt and there it was. It said brown rice. I have Crohn's Disease and cannot eat brown rice or I might have an accident if you know what I am saying...
Anyways I was polite when I went back up and told the girl who rang me up. She said I was right and she's get it changed, but with an attitude because I was interrupting her conversation. The whole time she had been on and off of her cell phone.
Besides that the food is good and I love it. I don't know if I'd come back because of the service.
